Sounds like Gene Gogal in Canada, he is famous for his off eBay deals where he cheats people.

 

I would use PayPal with a credit card, that way you have some protection.  I sent Gene $110 cash and he happily took my money and never even thanked me, I saw on eBay that the buyer that supposedly did not want the items left him feedback for them.
