My early Edison home is number H1265, last patent date is June 30, 1893. (This still probably dates from around 1897). This machine has the lift lever rest on the left side, and a brass mandrel, cast iron drive pully on the bottom, not skelital topworks, Originally had the weighted feed nut, but changed carrages, because the weight was very corroded and rusty. The on and off lever presses on the governor pad, instead of having it's own The govorner weights are brass. It is a very smooth working machine, plays very well.
