I enjoyed Andy's story about the Victrola XVIII.  I thought about my XVIII.  I plunked down big $$$, brought it home, dusted it off, and placed it in my collection.  Nice, but no great story.  I am fortunate to have found an early VTLA at a good price and a fun story.   I would estimate that the two machine have a similar value.  I love the VTLA and appreciate the XVIII.
