[Phono-L] Edison B-80 Variant?

 This B-80 appears to have panels inside to make the space more 'horn shaped'.   Was 
done by the Edison factory or a tinkerer?   My B-80 isn't this way.   I assume this 
was done in an attempt to better project the sound.
