[Phono-L] Columbia parts wanted

Hi all, I am looking for the complete needle bar for my columbia sterling, BI. The one that you push to realise the needle. Mine has broken at the  bottom. Is this  a   common problem, or has simply, the metal become brittle over the years?  Plus the nut/screw on the belt drive pulley end      of a Columbia BF.
