[Phono-L] How common is this Victor horn?

Uncle Tim,

When you say they are less common here than abroad, I take it to mean 
that they were sold here in the continental US, but the majority were 
exported. Was there a particular country to which they were marketed? 
What time frame were these offered?

I am at the US patent office quite often but I have not (yet) seen a 
patent for this horn. It reminds me of the paper-mâché "Linenoid" horns.
