Likewise, I was an ebay buyer/seller from the mid-'90s.  The Pay Pal  thing 
was the last straw for me.  In '07 I sold a model T Ford  car for $8,500 
but they have a very short memory and required I use Pay Pal  "Due to the 
value of the article..." to sell a phonograph worth $1200  last fall.  I quit 
e-bay then n' there and I'm still alive.  It's  useful for pricing but is not 
considered for anything I buy or sell.  Our  connections on the Internet are 
already providing adequate alternatives.
