Very well said.
I am not surprised about what ebay is doing, they want to make certain that they get their share of the sale. They don't care if the item is stolen, I am trying who did a piece on ebay and the amount of stolen goods that are being sold each day. And there is almost nothing anybody can do unless ebay wants to help and they don't because it would cost them profits.

You can't see who fell for this hoax as the buyer is still scrambled. I
think that this was another 'stupid' move by ebay. To keep the
identity of the
bidders private from the registered ebay users. When I am bidding on an item,
I
don't care who sees my ebay name. It's another way that ebay tries to
keep
things a big secret. The way it is now, if a fellow bidder is bidding on an
item and the item is bogus or the seller (in the case it appears with this
crook) is not one to deal with, no one looking on can warn the bidder. Ebay
has
gotten worse over the years and I think we can see where ebay makes no effort
to
confront 'shady' sellers! Tim, I think that you and several others
have
tried to let ebay know about this seller, and you have had no response.
Also, ebay has changed the feedback rules to encourage 'dead beat'
buyers.
If a buyer does not pay for an item, or if the buyer leaves unjust negative
feedback on a seller, the seller can in no way, shape, or form leave negative
feedback to the buyer. So with this, a seller can spend a fortune listing an
item (listing fees) and selling the item to a 'dead beat' bidder
(selling fees)
and the 'dead beat' bidder can choose to not pay for the item. The
seller is
stuck with the fees and cannot even report the 'dead beat' buyer to
fellow
ebayers in the form of negative feedback.
Yea, ebay is a true 'buy and sell' at your own risk forum. Buyers and
Sellers BEWARE! The 'dead beats' and 'crooks' are out there,
and out there lurking
on ebay.
