Hello everyone,
I have a few things for sale and or trade.
First off, I have a very nice original oak Herzog bowfront cylinder cabinet
up for sale. There are a total of 15 pictures I have uploaded so you can see
exactly what I have. The cabinet and the 2 interior cabinet shelves are
original. All of the pegs and the 3 door shelves are replacements. As for the
cabinet finish, I really am not sure how to describe it. I do not see any
alligatoring on the finish, so I cannot say it is original. It looks to me like it
has been French Polished, but I cannot be sure. So to err on the side of
caution, lets just say it has been refinished. But in any case it sure looks
very nice. I am asking $1,500 for it and I can deliver it to Union for free. It
can be picked up in Erie, PA also. No shipping on this one. The address for
a picture is

(http://members.aol.com/phonodoc/herzog01.jpg) To see the other 14 pics just substitute 02 thru 15 after
herzog in the address line.
By the way, I manufacture the replacement pegs. They come with the tops
already glued in! These are a very high quality peg, about as good as it gets. I
sell them for 50 cents each. I can deliver any quantity you like to Union as
well as I have a large quantity available. Samples available upon request.
Next, I have 2 somewhat scarce cylinders I would like to trade with. I am
trying to finish collecting a 24 record set of Edison "D" series 4 minute wax
Special Amberol records. These are the ones that come in the orange boxes.
This special series goes from D-1 thru D-24. I have D-11 and D-24 available
for trade as I am looking for D-4, 7, 13, 18, 19, 20 & 22. The two I have are
in good condition. Both come in original box and lids. The lid on 24 is
excellent and the lid on 11 is not very good.
Lastly I have a very nice 5" Concert record I was planning to put on ebay.
But I'll describe it here and if I get a rediculously good offer I will sell it
outright. This is without a doubt one of the lightest brown wax records I
have ever seen. It almost borders on white! Very comparable to white chocolate
by looking at it. Anyways, it is a Columbia record, and it is no. 530 Temper
Fidelis March by Sousa's Grand Concert Band. I can take a pic and send it
out if anyone is interested. Comes in a good original box with the original
record slip pasted on it.
Please email me off list if interested.
Thank you,
Jim Reisenweber
