Hello all --

Those of you interested in things phonautographic might enjoy some of 
the new resources we’ve recently published at FirstSounds.org.  Along 
with sounds recovered from phonautograms recorded between 1857 and 
1878, you can now access several of Édouard-Léon Scott de Martinville’s 
own key writings in both the original French and English translation 
("Léon Scott in His Own Words"), plus an examination of the Abraham 
Lincoln phonautogram rumor.
