Ron, Stephen B. Clements made 7 records for Berliner, and apparently for no one else.? The 7 Berliners were all banjo selections: No.450 "Virginia Belles," No.451"Darkie's Patrol," No.453 "Medley," No.454 "On the Mill Dam - Galop," No.456 "Queen of the Forest," No.457 "Jolly Darkies," and No.460 "Rastus on Parade."? No.457 was re-made by Vess Ossman in August 1897, so Clements was evidently a relatively unknown local player who fell by the wayside as better artists were secured.? Where was your title recorded? It looks like Mr. Clements or Mr. Clemens. Birth/death dates would be helpful. Did he make any other recordings?
