I know where you can get an original Amberola VI gear cover for about $100 if you are interested. But I would like to see the one you made. The original gear cover had gold pinstripes about 1/16" wide on either side that were about 1/8" in from the edge. I could paint them but masking the piece correctly will be difficult and thepinstripes will look poor it they are not matched exactly. I have a couple of other ideas. I believe pinstriping tape used on automobiles is available 1/16" wide. Anyone know where I can get this? Also I believe auto paint suppliers have a masking tape for pinstriping where the center section can be removed. This assures that the width is consistent when the paint is applied. I don't know if it is available for a 1/16" width or where to get it. Any ideals. Finally I know some parts suppliers have decals for redoing the beds on Edison machines. I would need a decal set with two stripes at least 8" long. Anyone know of a supplier for these?
