I see that you are all enamored with reproduction wooden horns, but they give me a bad taste. When the Reproduction Wurlitzer 1015 was introduced the value of originals plummeted from $10,000. to $5000. The antique apperatus Counter top reproduction just killed the values of Wurlitzer 71's. When the Reproduction Vogue records came out, the value of originals quickly lost half of their value. I may be wrong but Vic 3s Vic4s and Vic 5's with Wood horns are worth at least $1000. Less today than they were 5 years ago. I really believe it is because of the mass production of Repro horns. I must admit I bought one too in Mahogany to put on a Vic 4 and it is just beautiful and very well made, but I did keep the original, even though it is not perfect. I know radio collectors are fed up with Repro Catalins flooding the market . I just saw a total reproduction Chicago Bandbox advertised. It is beautiful, but If you have a real one, you have just lost half of your investment, I just hate to see reproductions devalue the originals, which I belive they have.
