[Phono-L] Brunswick Information Needed

Dear Ron,
I don't have a digital camera & the Brunswick is currently in the shop for
repairs to its motor & loosening up the frozen tone arm joint
where the soundbox attaches. The soundbox looks just like any other
single-diaphragm "Ultona" except for the metal diaphragm. When
I first saw it, I thought someone had painted aluminum paint over a mica
diaphragm but then noticed the printing on the diaphragm and
realized the "aluminum" was where the paint was effaced. Maybe the
repairman can make a digital photo. This is obviously a low-end model but
has a grill with rectangles that is kind of nice. I know Columbia made
metal diaphragm soundboxes during the acoustic era but hadn't known
Brunswick made such prior to their acoustic "Panatropes." Thanks for
your interest - I'll see what I can do about the photo.
All good wishes...

                                                                  Very
truly yours,

                                                                  Jim
