Regarding the Opera auction cancellation: I have actually spoken with a PERSON at eBay regarding this problem. Unfortunately, it appears that a seller CAN cancel an auction fairly easily at any time prior to 12 hours prior to the end of the auction. It is against the rules to cancel an auction and sell to a buyer who was made aware of the offering through the ebay listing, but not if the buyer came to the seller outside of the ebay system. So, unless you know how the buyer came to the seller (and we don't) there is no offense that can be claimed. Other reasons that a buyer can cancel an auction are:1) the item has broken 2) The seller no longer wants to sell the item. I think this is too bad--but we all know that this stuff happens in non-eBay auctions also. An interesting fact: The item location was San Jose, CA. Guess where the main offices of eBay are located! ---Art **************Start the year off right. Easy ways to stay in shape. http://body.aol.com/fitness/winter-exercise?NCID=aolcmp00300000002489
