If it was shipped with a cygnet horn, then it would have the bracket holes at the rear of the case. However, in answer to a bidder's question, the seller said the case was not drilled for a cygnet horn. So it would seem that it was shipped with a straight horn, which I agree does seem odd for a Model D2.
