The lid support is broken at the bottom (I can send a picture or two, if anyone wants to see them) and I'm going to need to reproduce it, which shouldn't be a problem, but I'm wondering: Should the hook at the bottom of the support (it's missing entirely on mine) face the front of the phonograph, or the back? Would it have been made of wood like the support, or was it a separate metal piece? If the lid is fully raised and resting open on the support, exactly how high should the opening be at the front of the phonograph?
