Richard,
I have one of these in a walnut case and can send pictures and measurements
to you. I won't have time until the weekend to do it though. Do you have
the drawer below to hold the extra reproducers? You can contact me at:

Subject: [Phono-L] Sonora question #1

I recently picked up a Sonora Elite with a wooden tone arm and lid support
and am in the process of restoring it. The lid support is broken at the
bottom (I can send a picture or two, if anyone wants to see them) and I'm
going to need to reproduce it, which shouldn't be a problem, but I'm
wondering: Should the hook at the bottom of the support (it's missing
entirely on mine) face the front of the phonograph, or the back? Would it
have been made of wood like the support, or was it a separate metal piece?
If the lid is fully raised and resting open on the support, exactly how high

should the opening be at the front of the phonograph? I welcome all
opinions, and thank you in advance for them.
