[Phono-L] OT-vintage car

Go Brits! I have a 1957 MGA roadster. Not very fast, but fun to drive.
We have a treasure about 90 minutes from our home in Wisconsin. Elkhart
Lake is a 4.1 mile "road course." They have 3-4 vintage races there a
season. During the noon hour, you can pay to "tour" the race track. No
passing, and keep speeds below 70 mph. (I don't think insurance would
cover any damage at one of these events either!) I have a 13 and 10 year
old. They take turns going to the events, and each has been out on the
track twice in the last 2-3 years.

Safety Fast!

My vintage car is a 1973 Triumph TR6. My first car was a ten year old
1958
TR-3 and I've owned Triumphs ever since. Insurance covers the expenses
of
being hit usually, but it does little for the pain of knowing your
special,
heretofore all-original treasure has been damaged.
