Go Brits! I have a 1957 MGA roadster. Not very fast, but fun to drive. We have a treasure about 90 minutes from our home in Wisconsin. Elkhart Lake is a 4.1 mile "road course." They have 3-4 vintage races there a season. During the noon hour, you can pay to "tour" the race track. No passing, and keep speeds below 70 mph. (I don't think insurance would cover any damage at one of these events either!) I have a 13 and 10 year old. They take turns going to the events, and each has been out on the track twice in the last 2-3 years. Safety Fast! My first car was a ten year old 1958 TR-3 and I've owned Triumphs ever since. Insurance covers the expenses of being hit usually, but it does little for the pain of knowing your special, heretofore all-original treasure has been damaged.
