Have not ever seen a horn like horn-A that wasn't a repair. But, is it like that all the way around? Looks like veneer repairs, but done very well. What does the inside of the horn look like? Also, your horn has obviously been stripped and refinished. Look at the dark circle around the decal. If you got it off ebay, you got it for what other collectors looking at it were willing to pay. I don't know what Marty Roenigk is selling his for, but it appears all original, and should be substantially more than what you paid for yours.
