Bruce asked this question and it wasn't answered so I'll chime in. Dave was  
an INCREDIBLE man.. nothing less. Members of the Calif Society and MAPS read  
about Dave in the mags.
 
He was the most generous person around.
 
When DAve knew he was dying he began disposing of his collection. Some was  
bought by museums (The Johnson Victrola Museum in Dover is becoming a big place 
 for collections to go and not just Victor machines). Some was sold at Union 
the  year he died. By the time DAve died, the barn was virtually empty. At 
least  someone preserved it on video.
 
I think of Dave a lot and really miss him.
