[Phono-L] multiple disk record players (changers)

I'm a little foggy on what Andy Baron wrote. But yes, Victor and another
company.Gable, I believe had changers in those early days. Capehart was
coming up with some interesting changers,as well as Sparton. As has already
been treated, victor laid an egg with their second generation changer in
1928. Story goes that Fenimore Johnson wanted to hold off on launching the
changer, and as is so often the case, was overruled. It was a fiasco, and
cost Victor a lot of mazuma, and never was right anyway.  Note if you will,
that RCA and Victor had no changers in the 1929 or 1930 model lines, and
when RCA did finally bring out the nezt changer in about late 1931, it was
another fiasco. It would only change 10 inch records. They should have
given up before they started.
