There was a Columbia model called the Meteor, with black bayonet mount tone arm, nickel hardware, aluminum diaphragm on the sound box and the typical louver front. It was a small, (about 13 by 14") cabinet concealing a single spring motor according to Baubach's Columbia book. It was introduced in 1917. It seems to me someone on this list was asking about that very phonograph in the past few weeks. Anyone know anything I could pass along to this person? Thanks! _______________________________________________ Phono-L mailing list http://phono-l.oldcrank.org
