A picture of the motor would be helpful. I'm betting it is a little
pillar and plate motor with no markings on it, right? Can you send me
one off list?

Subject: [Phono-L] Nifty Nirona spring size?

Hello All,

I am sitting here looking at a Nifty Nirona that needs a new spring.
It features a tone arm that enters a little reflecting shell at the
back of the machine. Ordinarily a spring would not a problem, but the
original one is missing. That means that I need to determine the
spring's thickness and length. Does anyone out there have a dimension
for this spring? I have located one spring listing for a "Nifty" that
could be correct, but I thought it worth a note to the list to
enquire if anyone has recently had one out for a look.

Thanks if you can help,
Don Mayer
