Mike, say it isn't so. The part about getting older is very true, the best advice I can give is to lift weights and stretch. I am 47 and unless I work out my back gets so bad it is hard for me to get around. When I was young I lifted to get big, I never did, now I lift just to extend middle age. Start out very light and never lift weights that are heavy to you and see a doctor if you have questions, but no matter what your age this can help as long as you do not have serious problems.
